Gaborone: The Southern African Development Community Secretariat invites Resource/Research/Knowledge Centres specializing in Environmental and Sustainable Development Research and Reporting, including Climate Change, to submit expressions of interest in providing consulting services to support the production of the SADC 2015 Year Book on Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation in the Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA-EAC-SADC) Region.

Interested consultants must provide their most recent and updated company profiles, proof of registration, updated profiles of key persons and information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services as highlighted in these Terms of Reference. Interested Consultants are also invited to provide a Financial Proposal to carry out this assignment.

IIED is undertaking a three-year research programme (in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Nepal and Rwanda) to understand the policy linkages between the two themes of climate change adaptation and mitigation in developing countries. This research focuses on countries that are investing in what has been termed 'low-carbon climate resilient development' (LCRD) – policies and strategies that address the challenges posed by climate change in an integrated response.
