New education financing commission to boost quality

Kigali: Rwanda has joined other world leaders in pledging support for a newly-established high-level commission on financing for global education that was launched on Tuesday at the Education For Development Summit held in Oslo, Norway.

High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development adopts declaration of commitment

New York: The High-level Political Forum for Sustainable Development closed its eight-day annual session today with the adoption of a declaration that committed ministers from around the world to establishing a “strong, universal, ambitious, inclusive and people-centred” post-2015 development agenda that completed the unfinished business of the Millennium Development Goals and responded to new challenges.

Africa’s collective input to the 2015 Meeting of the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development
